Plantosan^® Compact is a slow release fertiliser tablet for top dressing of container grown hardy nursery stock, pot plants and hanging baskets. The tablet is easy to apply and gives accurate, even dosage. Unlike most fertiliser tablets, Plantosan^® Compact only needs to be placed on the surface of the growing media – not pressed in.

Due to its special formulation Plantosan^® Compact disintegrates very quickly on contact with moisture. The particles stick to the surface and slowly dissolve into the growing media. This unique mechanism prevents spilling, reduces labour and saves cost.

Plantosan^® Compact contains all major nutrients and trace elements in a well balanced formulation which lasts up to 5 months. Slow release Nitrogen is provided as urea formaldehyde which is converted by microorganisms into plant available forms. Like plant growth, microbial degradation is influenced by temperature. Thus Nitrogen release is matched to plant requirements.
